I'm here. Safe and sound.
Now counting to a month and a half.
No drama, and everyday waking up into surprises.
I met heaps of nice people here who support me, and love me, and believe in me more than I do believe in myself.
I cried, and I smiled.
It was all good and fine.
I haven't secured any stable job, and every week my bills are bigger than my income.
But I am fine. In fact, I don't worry about it.
Because I know I will be fine.
And the choice of leaving everything behind in Indonesia is probably one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.
Australia has been THAT good for me.
I still do a lot of people watching.
I still watch the sky and count the stars.
I still stroll alone in the street.
I still sob sometimes whenever I'm about to sleep.
Now and then, last time I checked, I'm still the same Vania.
And I think I'm about to be upgraded soon.
Vania who goes easy on her life.
Hungry Jacks at William Street, Perth.
